Vermont 100 Endurance Race

Folks. If you were on the start list for our 2020 VT100, we sent you an email today with instructions and details on how you can re-register for the 2021 event or defer to 2022. Please check your junk and spam folders if you did not or do not see our email in your primary inbox. Thank you!

Everyone else, more details on waitlists and general entry to the 2021 VT100 will be coming in the weeks ahead. Stay patient and stay healthy! Thank you!

Vermont 100 Endurance Race

Happy New Year! What a blur! It’s almost impossible to remember 2020 started off so normal. But like any great test of our endurance, we all got through the highs and lows of this year the same way — putting one foot in front of the other, and of course with a little help from our friends! Now, how are you going to celebrate?!

We invite you to ring in 2021 (social-distance style) with our fantastic RD and special guest Amy Rusiecki on Facebook Live tonight from 730-10PM for a Holiday Show hosted by our friends at The Trails Collective. They are going to try to stump RDs like Amy with hard-pressing questions and athletes like Michael Wardian and Alyssa Godesky with trivia/l headlines. They will also take stabs at regional runners and FKT’s of the year, plus there will be a ‘nailed-it’ style bake-off, fireside storytime, and more. The ‘Variety Show’ format promises to be a good time for all and all are welcome.

Visit The Trail Collective’s FB Event page to let us/them know you’re going: https://www.facebook.com/events/1564260677294757

Vermont 100 Endurance Race

Coming at ya! A lot of you have been asking, so here’s the latest update on our 2021 VT100 registration process.

In the next week, runners registered for the 2020 VT100 who wish to participate in the 2021 VT100 will receive an email from us with information on how to re-register and claim their spot.

Runners on the 2020 waitlist who wish to remain on the waitlist will have the opportunity to sign up and claim their spot towards the end of January. Another email will be sent then. At that time, the waitlist will also open up for anyone else who wants to join (and yes, to be fair, these folks will be listed below those on the 2020 waitlist).

We will know how many spots are available in the 2021 start list after we learn how many 2020 registered runners claim their 2021 spots. Likely, beyond this, there will be no true early entry or general entry lotteries for the 2021 race. but again, we will know and communicate more as the re-registration and waitlist processes shake out.

What we do know, however, is that the lottery system is very likely to resume for the 2022 race. So, if you can’t be with us this year — stay hopeful for the next.

Thank you for continuing to support the Vermont 100 and for your patience as we work out the details to ensure our event remains world-class (and of course, safe!).

PS – Our website will also be updated as we know more. We know folks check it frequently. Until then, a red “NOTE!” has been placed at the top of most pages/page sections to remind you that much of the existing information is still ‘under construction,’ so to speak.
