Exciting news from the Progeria Research Foundation, which was found by # UNH alum Dr. Leslie Gordon ’86: A groundbreaking study, co-authored by Dr. Gordon, that uses gene editing to significantly extend the lives of mice with progeria and paves the way for effective treatments for the disease & thousands of other genetic illnesses. Progeria is a rare rapid-aging disease that in children typically leads to death in their teens.
