1983-P Washington Quarter
Struck Over Arcade Token
“THIS IS MY LUCKY DAY”
NGC MS 65
SOLD
This is a unique and spectacular major mint error but it is hard to explain how this happened. Somehow an arcade token was mixed with the blank planchets intended for Quarters and was struck by the Quarter dies. There is considerable detail remaining from the understrike. This mint error is quite a conversation piece and is one of the more unusual errors that I have handled.
