Albertson’s / Safeway / Vons Monopoly 2020 Rare Game Pieces

Albertson’s / Safeway / Vons Monopoly (and the same game at other supermarkets around the US) began on February 5, 2020. It runs through May 5, 2020.

In addition to Albertson’s and Safeway, this Monopoly game also exits at Pavilions, Carrs, Vons, Randalls, Eagle, Pak .n Save, Tom Thumb, JewelOsco, ACME Markets, Shaw’s/Star Market, United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, United Express, Albertsons Market, Lucky (Southern California only) and Super Saver.

If you’re looking for the 2020 Shop Play Win Employee Game pieces, click here.

When you shop at these stores, you will receive game tickets each time you shop there, depending upon your total bill and number of items purchased. You will then need to collect 4-7 pieces to win most prizes.

If you’re playing Albertson’s Monopoly 2020, you shouldn’t bother collecting a whole game board of pieces. That’s because most of the pieces are VERY common and VERY easy to obtain. The winners will be determined by who finds the RARE game piece for each prize. This site will reveal those rare pieces to you, and you can throw the rest away.

This is the premiere site to get this information. The other ones you will find on the web are simply copying our info, and then inserting affiliate links for clickbait profit! We always have the earliest and most accurate information.

Listed below are the prizes, the odds of finding the rare game piece (with 1 ticket), and the number of total game pieces you need to obtain that prize.

Note that for the six largest prizes awarded, you also need a semi-rare game piece, of which the odds of obtaining are 1 in 5000. If you get the semi-rare piece, don’t feel special, as there are many thousands of them out there. However, if you get the rare piece, you should be able to buy the semi-rare piece from someone on the internet. Do not overpay for the semi-rare game piece! Some people may try to trick you into splitting the prize. Don’t do that. You should be able to get one for $100 or so, as there are THOUSANDS of them, and they will all be worthless except for the very few matched with a rare piece.

Your odds of winning are not very good! Most times you will get nothing of value when you open your tickets, even if you have several of them. You will collect a lot of free product coupons over time, however. There are over 1 billion game tickets in play (1,105,002,000 to be exact)!

You may take a look at my Vegas Casino Talk forum, where I make a yearly Albertson’s Monopoly thread. Feel free to post your trade requests on that forum. In order to post there, you need to register an account and verify e-mail. The “secret word” to register is “inherit” (wihout the quotes!)

Did this website or my trading website help you win a prize? All of my sites run ad-free and lose money each month! Donations are always appreciated! Click one of the links below if you wish to donate.

Click here to contact me. Note that I do NOT have pieces to trade myself! Also please do NOT ask me questions about your pieces.

Finally, a note about the game pieces with a code to enter online.

You can earn “tokens” by entering these codes, which add up pretty quickly to being useful for redemption for real prizes. For example, after just 50 tickets or so, I’ve already earned enough to get a $5 store gift card. This is actually the real “value” of the game. Do NOT use them to enter sweepstakes, as your chance of winning is miniscule. Instead, save them up, and you can get a $25 gift card for 275 tokens, which is actually pretty good. Even better you don’t need to enter the codes manually! A smartphone can scan the barcode using the Shop Play Win app!

If you do want to enter the sweepstakes, you will likely have a (tiny) shot at the big prizes. This is because many people who get the rare pieces don’t also get the semi-rare, so they throw them away, not realizing what they have!

In 2017, a woman won the $1,000,000 prize in a second chance drawing, and that might very well happen again this year. So keep that in mind.

McDonalds Monopoly Canada 2020 – List of Rare Game Pieces

Image monopoly – Uploaded by nonojoe

McDonald’s Monopoly in Canada starts on Tuesday, October 6 and here’s a list of rare game pieces for the 2020 Canadian “Coast to Coast” Monopoly game. Make sure to bookmark this page and constantly check the list when you’re at McDonald’s.

Once again, McDonald’s is featuring a Canadian Edition of the game, so Boardwalk will no longer be the sought after piece. Also, there’s no longer a $1-Million prize. However, your chances of winning the big prize is significantly higher.

Previously, your chances at collecting a $1-Million Boardwalk piece was 1 in 651,841,628. To put that in prospective, the chances of landing the winning Lotto Max numbers are 1 in 28,633,528 – so you had a better chancing hitting the Lotto Max jackpot twice than revealing the $1-Million Boardwalk piece from your $5 value meal.

This year’s big prize is a cheque for $50,000. Though the prize isn’t a million dollars, your chances of winning are significantly higher at 1 in 16,353,184. The rare piece for the cash prize is Fairmont Le Château (#221)

Your best chances of winning are still with the instant win food prizes, which are 1 in 5.5. There are approximately 17,970,736 Food Prizes available to be won in Canada.

For the bigger Instant Win prizes, your best chances are for the Twenty Dollar ($20) Skullcandy eGift Code which are 1 in 66.

The best odds out of the collect-and-win prizes is for the ($1,000) SkipTheDishes eGift Code. The odds are only 1 in 9,811,911, so keep an eye out for the rare game piece Transcan Highway (#228).
